I always thought that they should be a bit more sassy with the question. "You know there's such a thing as outside, right?" or "Are you ok? We told you to get life alert" or "You likely smell by now, go take a shower or something"
If he's been warned, I saw it (or at least posted it) first. First time in months I've not seen the online bar. Someone's motivated if they took that approach! Two other threads have brought up the idea of forced breaks and this always online problem: http://www.midoki.com/forum/index.p...nd-doubts-about-top-player-locals.5995/page-3 http://forum.plunderpirates.com/index.php?threads/leaving-the-app-open-on-your-island.1243/page-2 And yet another thread on the same problems with leaderboard: http://forum.plunderpirates.com/index.php?threads/individual-ranking.6721/#post-51970 If fixed the leaderboard could be a fun furious fight for the top (obviously generating more gemming and profit than the current exploited leaderboard).
The game currently asks if you are still there and all you have to do is push a button, but it only does that if you are inactive for a bit. This would be one of those ok you have been "online" now for 30 mins straight. Please enter the following phrase to confirm you are a human not just hit a box because those devises can hit boxes as well.
Entering a code every 30 minutes would be annoying. Especially if it was one of those case sensitive, hard to read codes. Has to be a better way
It could be as simple as a random word. I would be ok with that as long as it stops the top guy from cheating.
Just make his base available to be attacked by one certain player who has thus far remained nameless...would take care of multiple problems pretty quick
How about resetting everyone to rank 0 each month, or quarter!! Gem awards or forum / Facebook recognition for the top players at the end of the month, stop the dead / boring islands dominating the top! - Let the RANK RUMBLES BEGIN
Agree, there would be no point in a guild pushing rank if you are to loose it, just as in other threads, both on this point and that of the rise of mini bases for the purpose of winning rumbles, why then upgrade.. The game needs a focus and direction with an 'achievable' outcome.
Not sure why it would annoy guilds, what's the point of having someone in the 800s if they stop chatting as they only need to pop on the game after their shield drops to do a hit or two to retain rank!! I think it would liven up the guilds, make them stronger. You only have to look at your competition in the rumbles to notice bases under shields or only 5 player out of 50 taking part to realize that whilst a guild is "active" there is a lot of upgrades being done just by clearing out the dispensers. British Bulldogs made it to rank 13 in a 10 day push so I don't really think it would be the end of the world for any guild if rank was cleared Monthly or Quarterly - 10 days later they will be back at the top. For the top 12 guilds I'm sure some will be pissed off as to get to their rank you really need dedication, but the game is more than 12 Guilds right ?
Red Flag Fleet has numerous players hovering around 800 and none of them just pop in for 1-2 fights a day...They are all quite active, active in chat and in our top rumble scorers on a regular basis. Maybe you just need to find better members for your team?
It takes a lot of time and hard work to get to the top @Captain Hakjka. It takes just as much time and hard work to stay at the top when everyone is gunning for you and your position. Do you break your shields the second you get them from a defensive loss? There is nothing wrong with using a defensive shield or purchasing a shield if you are going to be away for a long time. Isn't the purpose of a shield to stop you from getting attacked? Unfortunately it's part of the game. We typically don't see players just purchasing shields to sit there and do nothing. All of our players are actively participating in rumbles unless they are going to be away for an extended period of time.
I have lots of opinions on this, however, I think let the top 200 reply, I'm not there so I don't think my opinion counts. Based on my thinking if the top 200 are active 60% English speaking and 10% of those with PP forum accounts we should see 8/14 posts offering comments (of the top 200) Ready steady active players Go!
Im currently in the top 200 And Red Flag Fleet (not counting our 2 sister guilds 2 & 3) has 11 of the top 200 at the moment So a lil more than 5% is accounted for already
CONGRATS Fil ranked 184 IN THE WORLD With a Pr of 698 your highest profile score yet. Lucky for me if you check my profile I've been around the 690s too and higher before profile stats were created but hey ho I'll do it again one day. I achieved the 690s in a10 day ranked push so not trying to take away anything from your score it can be done by a player like me and I consider myself a "average player". (Whilst writing this and taking my time over this reply as don't want to be misunderstood! I noticed you made into 717 then dropped to 707, perhaps you will be in the 800s by the time you read this - go for it) To get to and the stick at the 800s or stick at 690 /717/707 I agree with @BlackBeard79 it takes more dedication or how I look at it boredom. So I stick with my views that in the 800s you only NEED to login hit once or twice a day to retain rank and then get a defence sheild again or buy one without loss of rank! - lucky for RFF if you have players who are prepared to be more active than they need to be at this rank, but I would like to see posts from other Top 200 members confirming they want to keep the rank system as it is. For me I'm totally convinced RESET THE RANK SCORE AND LET THE RANK RUMBLES BEGIN - hoping RFF smell the salts (realize I'm not attacking you individually or as a guild) hopefully you will pop over the new idea thread look up "monthly rank reset" and back a new challenge that was more elegantly written than my above posting in this thread. All the best Hakjka
