Given that the game is already heavily balanced in favor of the attacker, is there going to be any defensive buff to help counter the inevitable slaughter a legendary pirate is going to bring? Its impossible to make a base that can prevent a guaranteed 1*, nevermind 2 or 3*, with the current balance. I have a feeling once ching is back in the mix, nevermind the other legendaries, it'll be hard to keep literally every single defense to less than 2*. I hope they're expensive as well :c as a primarily defensive player I'm scared that I'm going to have absolutely no chance to finish my 500 victory quest, and I'm 96% of the way there.

Either way, I'm excited. Sadie the Goat made me smile, and this means we get our mortars fixed soon! I just hope balance doesn't get even worse.

 

I imagine that they will defend your base as well as attack. That's the only way to balance it.

 

I really hope so if thats the case. I didn't think pirates would ever be allowed to defend the base.

 

I don't think regular pirates will. But the legendary ones may. Who knows. Both may do it eventually.

 

I doubt it, considering it would bring a renewed interest in the (in)accuracy of replays, oui?
