Unfortunately just as we have thousands of players enjoying the Plunder Pirates gaming experience, there are also a small minority wanting to spoil it. So with regret we’ve had to introduce some safe guards to protect both players and the game. Below is a summary of the guidelines we are introducing as of now. Not following any of these will result in an automatic ban for that player from the game, something that cannot be reversed later, so please read, digest and take on-board. The player agrees to not: ·Use any bots, cheats or mods and/or to hack the game to gain an advantage. ·Use any automated or third party software that can modify or hamper the Plunder Pirates game. ·Deliberately attempt to disrupt or aid in the disruption of the online service offered by Plunder Pirates by overburdening the server. ·Use a third party source for purchasing the in game currency (gems). ·Instigate or assist in any sort of attack on the game Plunder Pirates that would result in a reduced service for others. ·Attempt to gain access to the registered accounts of other players by modifying or attempting to circumvent the security checks already in place in Plunder Pirates. ·Reverse engineer, deconstruct or otherwise interfere with the code base of Plunder Pirates. As stated, these guidelines are being enforced right now, so please follow them and there won’t be any problems. Thanks guys; we understand the irony of clamping down on pirates in our pirate themed game
Good too many games on big point like sea fight and now pirate storm ruined by cheaters and hackers. Make them walk the plank. Clean gaming no gameroids needed .
Sadly the people that do these sort of things rarely care about the rules. That said, they have been stated clearly and concisely so there should be no excuses at this point.
For the longest time I never understood why walking the plank was considered such a deadly punishment. Then I learned that most pirates didn't know how to swim. It was, in essence, forcing a person to choose to drown themselves. In movies and tv you see them swimming so it doesn't add up. Given the choice I'd rather hang.
Like keel hauling, ever felt how hard a barnacle can be? Like being dragged on a reef. I got cut on a reef in the Virgin Islands...like a razor cut.
I don't think they would even say , even on a staff and working on a Bigpoint project I didn't even get to see who and where the players that hacked mod botted were from or who they were. Wasnt till they put a ban on a server from one area that people figured it out. I trust midoki on it better than that company.
Hey!!! Easy on the clown porn @Tim Thomas happy to hear there are steps being taken to get rid of cheaters!!!
