One thing we keep running into in our guild is the fact that it's really easy to accidentally promote a guild member when you're trying to select the "Visit" option, because the buttons are so small. This is particularly tough on the iPhone - many of us hesitate to visit member islands for fear of accidentally promoting them. In most cases, an accidental promotion is just a minor nuisance (and embarrassment), but they're at least a monthly occurrence in our guild, and there was even one case in which an accidental promotion of a new and hostile member (a recent rumble rival) by one of our officers allowed them to kick many of our members from the guild before we could find a higher-ranking officer to kick the intruder. It would be great if there could be a bit more space between the "Visit" and "Promote" buttons. I think the same might be true for the Visit and Accept buttons when a new pirate asks to join the guild. In the meantime, if anyone else is running into the same thing, we've found a trick that works at least on iOS: Instead of tapping the Visit button, hold your finger on it. The tap won't register until you lift your finger, so if you tap and hold, you can see whether the Visit button enlarges (in which case you just release to visit) or the Promote button enlarges (in which case you can slide your finger away from the button, then release, which will prevent the tap from registering). Happy Plundering.
