Sorry I keep making topics but can't see a certain topic for general questions so maybe this thread will do if anyone is ever around to answer. Just wondering if a shield you gain after being attacked will still allow you to attack the npc islands and keep the shield?
Just thought I'd add I'm surprised how inactive the devs are in the forums you'd think they would be especially during soft launch for player feedback ect and while there aren't many posts it's not hard to keep up. Over on another game that's soft launching this week the devs are active a lot and always reply.
We've been super busy with the launch, but point taken, Xanthus! Regarding the shield. If you fight NPC islands from the exploration map, you won't lose the shield. Carry on and plunder that map! Your base is safe!
