Streak Optimization

    If you're not using any gems to rehire, this shows you the fastest amount of gunners to use at each streak/PH level. The number shown is the time to destroy + the time to rehire added together for that many gunners.

    In most cases 3 gunners is best, or at least very close to best, so 3 gunners is probably your safest bet in any instance, just so you don't have to think about anything, but if you wanna shave off a couple seconds there are a couple cases where it isn't.


    If you're using 1 gem to quickly rehire troops, this shows you how many gunners you can rehire at each streak level, and how fast they can destroy the PH. The number of gunners is above the column. The 94 is one gunner's damage.

    A brute takes about as long to rehire as 2 gunners, so you may want to replace 2 gunners with a brute or even 4 gunners with 2 brutes to tank defenses, so this will also let you know how long it has to survive for in order for them to kill the PH safely.
    Green = 1 gem, Orange = you have to wait <10 seconds before gemming, Red = not worth it. If you're using 2 gems, just double the number of gunners shown above the column.

    The numbers used assume lv33 gunners, 55% PC4 reduction, 11 extra damage from BS4. It does not factor in the extra damage from activating their ability, or Streak buffs, or LP buffs.

    If you would like to use a different level of gunner, bs, or pc, you can clone the spreadsheet and fill in your own values in the upper right. Put in your gunners damage, your BS damage, and the time it takes to hire a gunner after your level of PC reduction is applied - it should auto-calculate the new time at each streak level and gunner damage.

    The color formatting didn't upload properly to highlight things in the no-gem table, but the 1 gem rehire table should still color properly.

    I updated the spreadsheet for new gunner stats/hire time. 2 gunners is now optimal in many situations. The images above are outdated but will be left as examples.
