So now PP won't be available on the app store in China. This is very concerning. Why is this? Political reasons? Is this just the app store or will it apply to Android too? How many Chinese players do we have? Will this make a significant difference to the game?
Basically, you can't get games released in China any more without the approval from the Chinese government. It's been the case for new games for a while, but it's now being applied to previously released games. It only applies to iOS, because technically Chinese players have never been officially able to play the game on Android, as all Google services are blocked in China - therefore they don't have access to Google play.
