Ahoy all! Hopefully you're all enjoying the latest Plunder Pirates update! If you're interested into what we've been working on alongside Plunder Pirates, we've updated our website with some information about our new game: Knighthood! http://midoki.com/knighthood.html It's a turn-based RPG set in a fantasy realm of goblins, demons, cultists and the undead, so quite different from Plunder Pirates in terms of both theme and gameplay, but if you fancy taking a loot, it's currently soft launched on both iOS and Android in the following countries: UK Sweden Denmark Poland Malaysia Indonesia We'll do an announcement when the launch goes global. Obviously it goes without saying that we're still committed to supporting and updating Plunder Pirates for the foreseeable future (hence making a game of a completely different type, heh heh).
Soooo it says the developer of your new game is King... what’s up with that @Lynsey [Midoki] ?? Did y’all get bought out recently? I would think you’d want your own name on your own game if you indeed developed it??
King are the publisher, so their name is on the App/Play stores - much like the first few years of Pirates, when Plunder Pirates listed under Rovio! As with Pirates, the game is our game and IP, but King publish it for us. We're still very much independent, and we did indeed develop Knighthood (and if you play the game, you'll see our name on one of the loading splashscreens)!
