Upgrade the Blacksmith Guild Perk

In the instance that you've just started a guold and tbe only mber is yourself, will the perk still work?? @chris

 

Anyone familiar with how it works if your perk building is level 2 and other members might be on level 1?

 

Thank you Chris, let me clarify my question. If I'm at lvl 2 Stonemason, and donate 40K gold for 5%, do the guild members with lvl 1 Stonemason receive 5% of theirs or the equivalent of 40K gold (40%)?

 

They recieve 5%.

Word of warning. The price to fund the Blacksmith is quite a high jump from Level 1 to 2. Goes from 5k for 5% to 40k for 5%. When you only have a few members in your guild, your gold resources can take quite a hit. Ouch.

 

Totally agree Walker! I'm going to wait until the guild is full of contributors before I upgrade. As I now, I'm trying to contribute the max amounts to help the guild out.

 

And it's such a high price for only +2 more on attack.

 

Does it work in reverse too? If I have a level 2 blacksmith and all other members have level 1, do their percentages tramsmit to me equally?

If I understand your question right the answer is already given in this thread.
Say your guild consist of 50 members, 25 of them have Blacksmith level 1 and 25 BS lvl 2.
If someone with a lvl 1 BS donates 5% so 5k in everyones BS the amount grows with 5%
If someone with a lvl 2 BS donates 5% so 40k in everyones BS the amount grows with 5%

It does, but then this leads to a secondary question; why would anyone with a level 2 Blacksmith donate if there are plenty with level 1 to donate? It saves the guild a lot of gold by just having level 1's donate.

 

My gold storage is almost always filled at 2 million+. It's grog that I have to work for (academy and voodoo research needs). Funding the stonemason and blacksmith (level 2) for my 50% are no problem. The gold storage will fill backup on my next few raids.

 

I still use any extra gold for walls, but @Gangrene Beard makes an excellent point...cheaper to let the lower people fund it. Hell, I would give then the gold if I could!

 

Yeah...considering I'm at 40k per wall and the next is 125k per wall, I'm going to need all the gold I can

 

i agree with u i made myselsf this question beforei am now upgrading to level 3 and the donation will be 80k of gold.... well till level one or two i was able to donate for let's say 20% without many problems... after i will think about it a little longer

 

Is it confirmed that the guild perk upgrades are not cumulative? Meaning that L2 Blacksmith is only +7 attack instead of +5, not +7 in addition to the L1 +5 benefit?
