I get that the short disconnection time (when inactive) is to deter players being logged on to dodge being attacked, but surely the game can wait in the background for those minutes and still function and remain connected to the server? On the iPad (and I assume other devices) you can switch Apps to do another task (even those with a server connection/active link), and return to the majority of other Apps, but PP drops out annoyingly, immediately. Consider keeping the connection alive during the timeout period at all times and not based purely on whether or not your App has focus on the device.
