I am finding lately that I have been using this ability less and less. Yes it may distract the cannon fire onto them saving your gunners but you are interrupting ALL of your brutes for a good 10 sec of possible damage. Also doing this ability with the brutes too close to a mortar will not save your gunners.

If they made it so the brute took all the damage but doesn't lose any HP then this ability would be way cooler.. Key the world absorb

 

Yes, I've commented on that before. It is kind of misleading.

 

I haven't found the brute special ability to be very useful.

 

That would be to OP if the brute absorbed damage and didn't loose any health.

 

True... that's why he absorbs 40% less if you train him even further!
