Two times today I was queueing up pirates, went to erase 1, then all of the sudden, I couldn't see what troops were being built. But the time was still there. Also, the troops that were now missing, would flicker from left to right queue, then disappear again. I'll grab a pick if it happens again.
Yep, it's a bug we're aware of, but haven't quite managed to nail down due to the difficulty in reliably reproducing it.
I too have had it, I also tried deleting troops by pressing where the delete button would be but it was unresponsive to that. The only thing I can remember from when it happened was that I was feverishly producing troops at the time the bug showed.
