Hi! I'm new to the forums and relatively new to the game. In order to upgrade my ship, I need a lighthouse, but I am unable to build my lighthouse because I need more exploration points. My ship is out of places to explore because of its low range. Is there another way to earn EPs, or am I just missing a route?
You don't have to actually reveal new tiles to gain EP. As long as you're sailing somewhere the completed voyage will reward you EP.
One way to grind EPs fast is set your ship to sail on all calm waters. You have a level 1 ship so you do 6 squares of calm waters per trip which takes 36 seconds and you get 6 EP, then just repeat. I did this just for the easy grog/gold/gems early on but I picked up quite a few EP along the way.
