    For me anything that gives me more control over a battle or that makes me feel more involved is a good thing. Just dumping troops and hoping isn't very fun. But as I said in other posts I'm not too far into this game yet and the skill trees sound interesting.

    But things like spells, abilities like boom beach controlling the ship to fire off certain abilities and my personal favourite being a personal hero that you can level and skill up rpg style and use abilities during battles. Do the pirates get many skills from the skill trees or is it mainly passive rather than active?

    Regarding the skill trees, most Pirates have the ability to unlock powers that the player can trigger within a fight (e.g. Brutes can taunt defences, Gunners can trigger focus-fire which causes more damage but makes them weaker, Witch Doctors can raise the dead, etc.). This certainly gives the player more control than simply deploying and hoping.

    We also have other, interesting battle features that are planning for a future update. Can't say too much just yet though... ;)

    That sounds good, I only have an academy level 1 so was unsure how much we got. But I am glad to hear in these different topics that you have plans to add new things.

    The game is already great yet one reason that keeps me on these games is when the game gets support from the devs, one thing supercell does do really well.
