We're aware of a memory leak issue with the current update, and the fix will hopefully be out by the end of the week.
I thought if you were disconnected during a raid, things were reverted, i.e. you don't lose or win anything.
Hi, @Lynsey [Midoki] thanks for the update, I have quite a few crew moaning about this, it appears to affect more than others.
Unfortunately it looks like the start of next week for the fix (as it's been in submission longer than expected).
But you still lost deployed pirates, no? @Lynsey [Midoki] Is the "No Penalty from disconnect during attack" working properly? Seems like people shouldn't be losing rank? Or is that to prevent people from intentionally aborting a lost battle? From v1.3.3: Fix for connectivity issues during battle start. Game now ends battle without penalty to the attacker if it encounters an error.
I'll double-check - it might be that the 'no penalty' fix only applies to disconnection via server issues/manually closing the app/switching off wi-fi rather than crashing.
Also, I just had closed all my open apps and did a hard restart of my ipad before starting PP. My PP game has been crashing occassionally since update and no other games are crashing so it definetly wasn't something I did. Besides losing rank ( I have proof), I did lose the deployed pirates. It happened early in the raid so didn't lose much. I am not to keen on doing many raids until this gets fixed.
I cannot raid at all. It crashes EVERY time I raid now... and I lose all the troops deployed. Just happened again, twice, so I'm done until this is fixed.
When it did that for me, restarting my device fixed it. It'll still crash randomly, but not as much as before.
Crash opening. Crash on map. Crash hunting. Crash collecting. Crash in chat. Crash attacking. Crash editing. Crash viewing replays. Crash crash crash. 30+ times a day. There are no fixes on my end. *edit. OK, there are good days where it is more like 20. That's a good day.
Just curious, what device are you using? on iPad Air w/latest iOS I've had at most 1-2 per day. Some days there are none. After the crash, I just swipe up and re=select the app, and it reopens and usually behaves from then on out. I also make sure i have no other apps open, not sure if it matters in this case, though.
I have tried everything posted here, twice, and other things. Nothing fixes it. Very upsetting because I can't play!!!
IPhone 4s, OS7. Tried everything. Reinstall, force quit, soft boot, only app running, nothing makes a difference. Once again waiting for next update, till then soldier on.
Hm. Well, since it's a memory leak, that makes sense. Fortunately, it's submitted, so I hope they fix it for you guys soon
