Don't forget the outhouses...

These things are so expensive, I'd like to see more return on my investment. How about making it so outhouses repel invading pirates within a small area? I know *I* wouldn't want to stand too close to one, let alone hack it to pieces. I imagine the pirates aren't too keen on that, either.

Better yet, how about treating them like biological traps? When destroyed, all pirates within a certain area take damage from contact/inhalation with its foul contents?

While we're at it, a few upgrades would also be nice. Sure, a solid-gold communal trench latrine would be a sweet perk for the discerning pirate, but I'd be perfectly happy with more hit points, to give it some use besides offloading the cost of Tavern upgrades.

p.s. an exhaust fan, a few magazine and a can of Febreze would also be a nice touch.

  2. Haha, I agree that the outhouses are way more expensive than you would think and that they seem wasted seeing as all they do is add troop slots. To me, it's a neat concept, but having the spare building just hanging out bothers me. It would be nice to see more of an effect come from these contraptions.

In retrospect, since they have 800hp, they do they do make pretty neat distractions/obstacles in lower level battles.

  4. A hilariously brilliant idea I love it, please implement this into the game, please

Now if only they distracted brutes...

  6. When placed correctly they already do which can be frustrating some times as they aren't actually defences but brutes specialise in taking out defences, what's wrong with that?

I use them already as a Defense. A res out on an island with a crapper. If attacker sends out a unit, it takes out the crapper too before moving on. Nice little time waster.

Plus, they're tiny, so they fit in those little leftover spaces between defenses and buildings.

Yeah. And maybe a couple brutes forgot to "go" before they left the island…

I wondered why they looked so angry!

Outhouses should explode when they are destroyed....Like a stink bomb....or a big methane pop.

  13. Thats why I only use chemical toilets. They go out with a bang when destroyed by a bomber.. They Never See Me Coming..

What would be even better is if the jugg special ability could be to drop a deuce in the enemy's outhouses. It could be like a calling card to make attacks more fun. It could also temporarily limit the enemies tavern slots for a cool down period afterwords since fewer pirates would be attracted to the island as a result of the stank coming from the outhouse

Well, I can see by that last comment that this thread has run its course. Once upon a time, I created it for an actual feature request. Now it's devolved into...that.

@AngryBeard Can you please work your magic and close this thread, before you're forced to do yet more finger waving? :)

Salrpetre was made from dung. And then used for blackpowder. It's consistent with the theme. ;)
