Exploration points reset

    hi,
    Today I have reached more than 10,000 EP/total, and the counter is reset to 6000.
    Now I'm going for 6189 but should be 10189.

    I had this same issue... should have over 1000, now sitting at 159...

    Are exploration points suppose to reset? After getting 250 EP to get my lighthouse, my exploration points reset to 0. I would think it would just keep going up like battle points do. Please let me know if this is a bug or normal. Thanks.

    It's not a bug. EP and BP are a resource and are 'spent'

    Some of the later buildings require it as part of their upgrade, alongside gold and grog. The lighthouse for example
