Fishing Competition Rules Because prizes are being offered for the competition, and to help prevent any shenanigans, all players must strictly follow the following rules and procedures. If you fail to post one of your BP catches according to these rules, that catch will not count. So please, read them carefully and ask questions if you have any. 1) The contest will start at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5th You cannot begin your first trip until the contest start time 2) The contest will end at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, May 9th Your final trip must be completed before the contest end time 3) Two images with a date/time stamp must be posted for each catch: a. 1 photo showing the ship route and travel time b. 1 photo showing the total BP earned on the trip 4) All dates and times will be based on the players time zone Dates/Time will be validated by the date/time stamped on the photo (see procedures) 5) Players must use one of the approved free apps for the date/time stamp The reason is because these apps will not allow you to modify the date/time (see procedures) 6) Catches must be posted on the forum within 12 hours of completing the trip and earning BP You don't have to post catches if BP was not earned 7) Gems cannot be used to reduce ship travel time Gems can be used to reduce recruiting time 8) Winners will be determined based on total BP earned by killing sea monsters Anything on the map your ship can battle counts (fish, serpents, royal navy, etc.)
Fishing Competition Procedures Make sure you take screenshots of every map route to sea monster and for every BP catch. I recommend you don’t delete the photos from your device until after the contest. Make sure to post your catches within 12 hours of the conclusion of your trip. If you complete multiple trips within the 12 hour period, you can include photos from all trips in same post update. Is the trip datestamp pic as you set the trip, or after the trip is completed? I ask because your pic shows the red dots of a planned trip, not a completed one.
Tex, can I get a quick tutorial on posting pics to forum. I read Bear's post on how to do it but wondering if there's something easier.
You can use Imgurl.com it is pretty easy, just control C the last link and paste it in these threads.
It's finally here folks! The fishing competition begins at midnight of the players local time. Just sent out my fist ship. Heading to bed Haven't fished in days. Hoping to trick the fish into starting to give me a lot more BP better restock my tackle box
@SpongeCake BP TOTAL: 650 50bp isn't a great start, but oh well... maybe i should bribe the fish with cake instead of buccas. Sorry i took the last screenshot a wee bit early, the stars were still flying
@SpongeCake just to confirn... You earned a total of 650 BP on that trip? 50 BP for the fish and 600 BP for the serpent? If that is correct, please edit your post to show the total BP you have earned thus far before posting pictures.
