    create an in-game button (with specified url) to go directly to the forums and also one to go back.

    There is a direct link in PP to the faq thread of this forum.
    See settings -> help -> faq

    Relink from forum directly to the app should afaik against apple rules.

    Btw, I see no problem to switch between PP app and Browser app.
    Just bookmark the forum.
