why is it that only captains can pay gems for rumbles? I know it's not a large amount but why can't other member contribute or start a rumble by majority vote?
I agree. First Mates should be given the option as well, or it should be some sort of funded perk. The only slight issue is someone could start a rumble on the guild early when you're trying to plan on a specific time to start it in an attempt to matchup a particular rival. Currently, what I've seen smalle/free guilds do is rotate the captain position every couple days between a couple trusted first mates, and let them take turns funding it.
They are adding the quartermaster rank soon. And expanding the duties of those ranks, so more than just the captain will be able to start rumbles.
What if, in the same way the Capt. can promote someone, they could add rumble starting abilities too?
