Could someone point me in the right direction in the fine art of banner making. I know we've spoken in depth about size, but could not find any threads that discussed actual way to make them. Thanks
Decide what you want it to look like, open photoshop or illustrator, set the dimensions of the image, design it. It helps to have a general vision of what you want it to look like. For mine I found a high res flag texture, recolored it and cropped it in photoshop, and then screened text and a couple vectors of swords onto it (I think I did the text in illustrator, but I may not have bothered leaving photoshop). I'm no graphic designer, so it probably looks like garbage, but I'm happy with it. Some people just take a plundercam shot of their base, crop it, and put text on that, that's the easiest way for sure, and it can make nice looking banners pretty easily.

Think I may do a new banner, I did this one in about 10 mins lol. Any thoughts, I have a few but would be interested what others thought too?
What app do some of you use to blend photos into the banner? Instead how mine looks like a collage, lol
Haha, I think I asked @Spongee to create this thread for me, when I was a noob and was first day on forums. We weren't even in the same guild. I just did it because I thought more people would be there to help, haha. One year later, I still can't make a banner, but now I have the likes of @Tex, who makes almost all Wicked banners, and @FlyingDoucheman to help. Two amazing artists.

Use tinypic.com upload banner , put in free code , choose last link option, select all and copy , then cone back here and in signature area click on box to right of then paste it in and save
