Halloween Mod - nothing changes

If I activate it, only the colour of my flag (the white in it) changes (white to pink) but nothing else?

 

No, it's supposed to go darker (think full moon nighttime) and the shadows shift too.

 

Someone an idea what the problem could be?
I'm playing on iPhone.

 

For shadows you need iOS 8 and the newer processor, but even on my older iPad it gets darker.

 

It looks great on my 5s.

 

The lighting works on my iPad, but not on my son's iPhone.

 

Which device do you have?

 

Looks like it doesn't work on everyone's iPhone4, we have a few tickets about this in Customer Support.

 

Yes, he has the iPhone 4. My iPad is also 'old'', it is what they called the 'new' iPad, or '3' I guess.
