I'm looking for more visual customization to make our islands really look different from each other. How about locking that kind of stuff up in stores that are located on other islands? That way you'd have to sail out to them first, braving sharks and pirates and such to get a different model for your ship or something like that? Instead of just an icon reward, you could show a custom island with a one of a kind building that is the store. I'd like to see the same kind of thing, custom buildings and island shapes, used for little story bits. The intro text to the famous pirates on the map is so intriguing, I'd like to actually see those people and those places! I that would help the world feel more fleshed out.
Thanks, some nice ideas there. Some of the decorations are unlocked specifically through exploration quests and we have plans to extend this further through future updates
