how to make a official banner

hey does anyone know if theres a tutorial on how to make banners? i was looking to get one for myself but i have no idea where to start thanks in advance if anyone helps

 

The easiest method that was recommended to me is:

1. Use a banner creation website like www.bannerfans.com to create your banner image.
2. Once you have created your banner, you can then generate a link/URL for it from the website.
3. Go to the signature part of your forum profile (click on your name and choose signature from options).
4. Above the box that appears choose the insert image button (7th from right).
5. In the web address box paste the link/URL you got from the website.
