My Storage Silo Upgrade has Disappeared

After a Midoki game update my Silo space actually diminished by half. The worst part is I can't re upgrade the Silo because the game knows I already have done it. I repeatedly get "Silo Full" messages. This ruins the whole "explore / upgrade legendary pirates" cycle for me.
It has 5 rows of 5 slots for a total of 25 slots. I don't know how to post a screenshot of it.

 

So you mean your Silo went down a level... and is no longer upgradable?

25 slots is max capacity. Sounds like you have a maxed silo.

Oh. So there is no upgrade available?

 

Not yet. Silo Level 3 is the max right now. Supposedly there is a Silo upgrade coming; not sure if it will be in the next update though.

 

Check that your gold/grog stores aren't full or nearly full, I was about to complain about this issue then spent some grog on something and then realised that my grog had been nearly full, tried the chest again and hey presto!
