This is where PP could distinguish itself from CoC with a deeper, richer hero mechanic. Give us choices that are meaningful. First, I suggest that there be more heroes available than can be used simultaneously by a player. If 2 pirate heroes can be used at the same time, then give us four to choose from. Second, give us separate skill trees, say three per hero, and a finite number of upgrades that be made to skills at a given Hero Hall level. Make investment is a particular skill line make further advancements in that line cheaper or provide a bonus to power, in addition to being required to unlock deeper skills. Allow us to individualize our heroes through our choices. And the ability to reset our hero's skills via payment of gems or resources (first time in a 30 day period cheap, successive resets progressively more expensive)
I like the idea of actual Heroes - like singular beefed up units that are based on real pirates from history. As for the individuality of heroes, wouldn't that cause some fairly substantial balance issues?
As long as the skills can be reset and there is sufficient advance testing, they would cause no more balance issues here than in the thousands of other games in which they have been successfully implemented.
The thing about that is, we're not playing an alpha or beta of a game, this is a finished product that is receiving updates. Adapting the skill tree to have assigned points would be a HEAVY undertaking at this point that could nerf some characters while making others near invulnerable. I present the Dark Archons of the Protoss in StarCraft. You could have a hybrid or even a compound base of all three races that was damn near invincible. The new character and it's new abilities almost wrecked the game in the competition circuit. It's definitely not a light undertaking. A more approachable change would be the ability to upgrade selectable powers/abilities beyond what we've already done to make those upgrades more effective.
Your reply confuses me. Heroes have not been implemented in the game. They will require heavy alpha and beta testing before being introduced.
Hey Read Other Thread Before Posting The Same Ones Some People Posted Even Longer Ones So Don't Post The Sam One
Or perhaps they will follow a rock, paper, scissors method to address the balance issue. Or maybe they could include different skill tree guide for different pirate hero paths. let's say your hero will start from being a rookie thief then can evolve to something more stronger into two hero paths, let say job 2 is rogue and assassin. etc .
Yeah, your hero can be more that ever or keep it on of his abilities up. But if they do, they need to update the balance in each island building or defense. or else, the hero can simply destroy everything. . .
But i think this will do since it's this is not DOTA or DOTA 2, we have hall upgrades, towers upgrades, etc
The upgrading of your towers or others in your island has a limit on each currently. So, even the simple basic character right now can pretty much destroy them all. Can you imagine if the Hero is also there? Unless if they will add an anti for each.
Let's See Here What Would I Like To Add For Legendary Pirates DEFINITELY CUSTOMIZABLE Also For Defense And Attacking A Special Tavern When He/she Dies you don't have to train him/her again and just heal him/her Back Up For Maybe 30-60 minutes Use Troops For Legendary Pirates Like To Buy Him/her You Need 300 Battle Points And 10 Buccaner's And It Will Take 2 Hours To Recruit Him/her Finally Will Theyre Be Only Male Or Male And Female Legendary Pirates ?
