It would make sense to see a non-animated buccaneer on the back of cannons, mortars and ground pounders, because it's weird to see a cannon swivel around and fire, unmanned, when there are clearly no movement sensors or the likes attached to it. Or, we could just have movement sensors, but that would be stupid because we aren't space pirates.
