I keep receiving app notifications even while in the app. They don't pop up like other notifications, but when I close the app I will have notifications for anything that happened while I had the app open. This goes for exploration battle confirmations, tavern full, training finished, and perk activation notifications. My wife has the same problem on her nexus 5 OS 5.1. I imagine this is a universal problem, but it's rather annoying.
