Release 2.3.0 - Holiday Season

• Winter theme ( falling snow, seasonal themed base graphics, music, etc)

• Winter legendary outfits - each has a unique buff.

• Quartermaster rank for Guilds
  • Added new rank (beneath Captain and above First Mate)
  • Max of 3 Quartermasters.
  • Quartermasters can:
    • Start rumbles.
    • Accept players into the guild.
    • Kick lower rank players.
    • Promote Powder Monkeys or Crew.
    • Demote Crew or First Mates.
    • Change the guild message of the day.
    • Change the guild description.
    • Change the guild access and required rank settings.
    • Share requests for guild perks to be funded.

  • Quartermasters can’t:
    • Promote First Mates to Quartermaster
    • Kick or demote other Quartermasters
    • Change the guild banner/icon.
  • On the guild info page (accessed by tapping the ‘Guild’ button on Leaderboards, etc), the ‘Officer’ section should only list the captain and the quartermasters (not the first mates).
  • Rumble FAQ updated to mention Quartermasters.

• New Chest types added for Streak Rewards, replacing existing chests:
  • Bandit’s Chest
  • Freebooter’s Chest
  • Corsair’s Chest
  • Marauder’s Chest

• Monthly Leaderboards
  • Existing leaderboard will run to the start of January
  • When it ends, the player who comes first gets added to the Hall of Fame
  • Running from the 1st to the 25th of each month (January one excepting - this will start estimated Jan 4th)
  • Top placed player will be added to the Hall of Fame for that month
  • Hall of Fame (Winners) lists the winners of each month (plus the final first place on the Leaderboard
  • When ‘season’ ends for the monthly leaderboard, a cooldown appears documenting the time until the next leaderboard starts
  • If the player has battled during the course of the month, they are given rewards according to their placing bracket on the leaderboard. Higher placing brackets get better rewards.

• Legendary Pirate rebalancing
  • Blackbeard’s ‘Minion Boost’ trainable skills tweaked to increase the damage of his bodyguards over the previous amount
  • Blackbeard’s ‘No Quarter’ ability stun time of friendly units reduced from 8 seconds to 5
  • Cornelius Heston’s training tree slightly tweaked:
    • Level 4 is now Minion Boost, increasing the damage and toughness of his monkeys (previously increased the number of monkeys)
    • Level 7 increases the number of monkeys spawned by 2 (was previously 1)
    • Level 10 increases the number of monkeys spawned by 2 (was previously 1)
    • Level 17 increases the number of monkeys spawned by 3 (was previously 1)
    • Level 20 is now Minion Boost, increasing the damage and toughness of his monkeys (previously increased the number of monkeys)

• Rebalancing
  • Juggernaut’s ‘Demolition Expert’ skill replaced by Mortar Massacre
  • Rewards for top-end exploration battles improved

• Various bug fixes and optimisations, including:
  • Ching Shih’s ‘Get Over Here’ ability was erroneously commanding thieves - this has now been fixed.
  • Buccaneer’s Angry Again ability now being applied correctly to make Berserker last 10 seconds instead of 5.
  • The amazing boat shrinking croc bite has now been fixed - the ship now appears at the correct size when in the maw of the Crocosaurus.
  • ‘Minion Boost’ skills in Blackbeard’s and Cornelius’ training trees now have the correct text.
  • Fixes to memory issues for players on older devices such as iPad 2 running iOS9 - this should hopefully increase stability.
  • Fixed issue on the Western Map where level 6 and 7 ships couldn’t sail beyond 64 tiles, despite having range left.
  • Fixed issue on both Western and Eastern maps where the strongholds/forts, sea battles and generators would be invisible if the ship was sailing the other sea.
  • Incorrect shadow on Legendary Fort flag fixed.
  • Fixed various issues with Exploration voyages, map switching and troop collection
  • Fixed issue with Streaks hanging if the ship returns from a journey mid-streak.
  • Fixed UI issue where Outfits could be equipped if they weren’t owned (this exploit also caused a crash).
  • 1* Merchant Ship restored for players that were missing it

 

Server update 15th December:

• Corrected cost of level 9 Academy to include BP

• Corrected unlocking of Voodoo Huts levels 5 and 6

• Fixed issue with Freebooter's Chests giving 0 gems

 

Server update 18th December:

• Fixed some issues that were causing crashes

• Fixed an issue where previous-previous Rumble scores were being displaying instead of the previous one

• Fixed an issue where islands were occasionally offering a Rumble Rival bonus outside of Rumbles
