Rumble Royale- Wasp vs Spyder

In the yellow corner, we have we have the lightweight, high flying insect that packs its punch with a sting, WASPpppp.



In the red corner, a fellow lightweight competitor, which spend most of its time hanging around in its web and is only as deadly as its poison, Brown Widowwwww Spiderrrrrr.

I guess I should add that I just had a fight between the two, captured a picture and will post it in a few days after people vote.

I'm thinking he's intentionally underselling the spider. Although, knock a dirt daubers nest down and they are full of spiders.

 

I'll say wasp gets caught in spider's web and loses advantage of flight - so Spider wins. (However I totally agree with @Lynsey [Midoki] on the spite thing - I hate it when they fly into you and then sting you as if it was your fault ).

 

Wasp for sure, if the spider gets cocky and comes out of his Web too fa.

 

I'll tell you this, it was a good fight. I'll post the victor on Friday.

The wasp looks dead in that photo...I say spider!

 

That wasp, like many of their brethren was killing a caterpillar .

 

Are they really going to fight, or is this hypothetical?
A video of the fight would be cool.

 

Unfortunately tex I couldn't get a video of it.

 

But there was a real fight and we have a winner?
I'm taking the spider.

 

Well, it was a good fight and the wasp fought with a strong will to survive. But unfortunately, as soon as the wasp got stuck in the web, it was game over.

In this picture, it was caught in the web. Its stinger was still free to try and sting, and boy o boy, it valiantly tried to sting the spider. But, the spider was to fast for it. The wasps legs were wrapped when the spider went in for the kill. This heroic battle for life lasted about 25 minutes before the spider pulled the wasp into its sticky lair to feast.

 

See I knew I detected underselling.

 

Where's my million gem reward?

 

Maybe just a little, but it is still a spider closely related to the Black Widow spider.
