When my ship is out sailing on the Eastern Seas, and I return to my island, the ship is still there in the dock, rather than being absent and replaced by the 'back soon' buoy and timer as usual. I can empty it of pirates and use them in battle, but on the map screen the ship continues sailing towards its destination. This happens every time so it isn't just a one off.
