Every unit sucks at level 1. Not sure I would call that an honest assessment. I don't use them (mine are at lvl6) cuz their not that viable as a farming unit. But I don't use buccs either cuz they suck for farming. If i were to use them it would be at higher levels and they would be a much better option than buccs.
exactly, I've also uploaded video called "why you should not recruit the witch doctor" but after several upgrades, this unit is quite useful now, and i'm making other movie called "why you should recruit the witch doctor" haha, i think same goes to all units.. Upgrade is essential stuff!
Your videos seem premature, upgrade them first. You recommend against many units that get better with upgrades. Maybe the heavy gunner is the exception. But I'm sure they are working on the balance there.
They should be useful without major grog investments in upgrades. Their starting recruitment cost is far more then an upgraded bucc.
I see no reason to use the skellies at this point in the game. Maybe I will feel differently once I upgrade them.
actually these videos are for the people wandering whether to invest on this unit or to other units.. i guess it's better to upgrade other units first and then to this guy in the beginning of the games.
