I honestly can't remember if it was this game or another as I installed a few at the same time but I tried to pick the name Dagon as I always chose if not taken already and it said it was a swear word? My apology if I'm wrong as I do have a feeling it was just already taken...but given it was only a few days into soft launch I wouldn't have thought it would be.
We do not stop people from picking the same name so I'm not 100% sure why it didn't accept Dagon and it isn't a word that's within our Blacklist. Interesting.... We'll investigate. Thanks for letting us know.
Ouch so I'm in idiot. That'll teach me for posting at 7am after a night in work. My name on the game is Dagon I have no idea why it got into my head that it wasn't. Picked the wrong name on the forums now!
If the game said it was a swear word, it's probably because their profanity filter is too sensitive. If you remove the N from Dagon, it becomes an offensive name for Italians.
