This building synergies very well with the Acadamy. Because the trade route is in your island, you must supply the Sailers. The trade route works like a mailing system and all pirates respect eachothers privacy when it comes to mail. Because it could be their mail next time, but if you destroy the ship you don't get your mail. Anyways I digress, it's thr grog. The higher level unit the longer by hour it works In the trade route. So keep supplying the Sailers to work and make sure you always have a full crew or profit gains will be locked until their are Sailers. Sailers have no battle benefits as they always go down with their ships. They never step on land and hold no weapons. The acadamy upgrades will increase the time the sailers work and added bonuses I always leave up to the posters and devs to create. I like and dislike the idea of bidding. Where pirates why bid when we can steal and why steal when we can plunder. Bets on tournaments and the inevitable guild vrs guild battles on the other hand would be cool. Also there should be a new victory. If you manage to steal 50% of their total resources, you should qualify as a raid win and not lose pirate rank. After all it's Ye gold and grog that matters and hurts Ye most when it's lost.
These types of games are best played earning the gems imo. But indeed your correct. A small one time donation for the fun the game provided on the other hand. Go devs. Keep it up the games got some tight rpg elements. Love the abilities it's such a fresh twist on battling compared to other games of the genra.
