The Bruneer, yes a crazy name! It is an awesome strategy that is easy to use!

15 tavern space: 2 Brute, 7 bucaneers
20 tavern space: 3 brute, 8 bucaneers
25 tavern space: 3 brute, 13 bucaneers
30 tavern space: 4 brute, 14 bucaneers
35 tavern space: 5 brute, 15 bucaneers

Levels?

 

It's what I'm using, myself. 35 Tavern Space and maxed out levels.

 

Maxed out for academy level 2 or 3? Once you upgrade to level 3, Buccaneers get a 60% damage increase and a 25% toughness increase, but if you only have academy level 2 they are pretty weak.

 

Mine are still Academy lvl 2. While they obviously get better later on, I find the results somewhat satisfactory already, depending on who you attack, of course.

 

What about 50 tavern slots?

 

Why Buccaneers?

 

I never use my Buccaneers am I missing something?

 

Because this thread is two months old

 

Bucs have the highest health excluding the "meat".

Do u use the smelly wags?

 

Dammit i wrote skellywags but what it was automatically changed to is a much better term. Smelly wags.

No I don't use those smelly skelly wags, never even bothered to upgrade them either. But when I upgraded my main troops to the max I will probably dump grog on training them

 

I use:
35-slot: 8 Sky Raiders, 3 Witch Doctors, 8 Bucs, 8 Gunners, 1 Brute, 1 Bomber
50-slot: 8 Sky Raiders, 4 WD, 8 Bucs, 8 Gunners, 3 Brutes, 8 Bomber/8 (smelly) Skellywags
