To get your Pirates in the Tavern going, try this:

1. Recruit a bunch of Pirates.
2. When a Pirate pops out, move the Tavern.
3. You'll see the Pirate running to the Tavern. Even Walls cannot stop them.

Or, do this:

1. Recruit a bunch of pirates. (Buccanneer works best)
2. When a Pirate pops out, go to the Island Editor Mode (be sure to activate Camera mode first)
3. Store the tavern.
4. Wait 20 seconds (changes when Buccanner is different levels)
5. Put back the tavern.
6. Exit Edit Mode.
7. More Pirates appears out of nowhere!

Alternate solution:

1. Do steps 1-3.
2. Put Decorations or other Buildings where the Tavern was.
3. Place the Tavern in another place.
4. Exit Edit Mode.
5. Your Pirates appear in the Decorations!
6. When you exit the game and return, the Pirates will be in the Tavern.

Yeah when I'm bored I will just move the full Tavern to the opposite side of the map and watch them all swim to it. Just before they reach it, move it back to where it was. Hehe great fun!
