Update: The 4* kraken gave me 50 BP and the 4* bigger fish gave 250 EP, yeah like I really needed more of that! So grand total BP for the 17+ hour trip 300 BP points. Btw...I did have a wd on board and 2 juggs. Also my pirates are almost fully maxed Academy 6.
Update #2: Great news! Caught a 4* bigger fish this morning and awarded 2,000 BP. All is right in the world again. For a little bit anyway.
Congrats Tex! Got two questions for you, if you remember. 1. Are you sure it was a bigger fish? Normally, the 4* Big (Blue guy) is who gives 2k BP. 2. If you don't know, do you know around which map square he was hiding? Just asking, because if 4* Biggers (Brown-stripey) are now giving 2k, I need to update the charts.
Yes @Kelani it was definitely the 4* bigger fish at position L0. I personally have always received more BP from them than the blue fish. Even months ago I could earn 2k on the bigger fish. So I target them almost exclusively.
@Tex-n-OC @Salty Snack Thanks, guys! That's really good news. I've never gotten 2k from one, and couldn't figure out why a 4* Big would have a better max award than the 4* Bigger. Glad to know they can pay out sometimes.
