Why don't you add an option where guild members can vote to kick the captain ?(for various reasons: horrible management, inactivity, VERY low rank, etc.) I would be happy to kick My Tush. Maybe the points can be determined by the ranking: Cabin Boy: 1 point Crew: 2 point First Mate: 3 points Captain: Cannot Vote
we have enough trouble with randoms kicking other people from guilds without authorisation (because we can't see who did it). I think this feature could be even worse. If you have a core group of newbies in a guild voting out captains unfairly, it will create all sorts of trust issues in guilds and would stop guilds functioning properly.
So restrict the voting to Crew and above. If you have a good guild that's being hampered by an inactive captain, it would be much easier to remove him, than move everyone to a new guild.
I like this idea, but I'd restrict it to first mate only. This way when one goes on vacation, they can switch roles, and good option if leader quits, but for all crew to have it could be abused.
Actually Sinister Souls doesn't have this problem, my comment was related to the game as a whole, and the number of earlier posts regarding random kickings. The idea of limiting mutiny to higher rankings might work, but overall I am not that big a fan.
Longest and highest ranking gets promoted to captain. Chris answered this months ago. C'mon Kel, you're better than that
Hey, I said that! Just not...first We were talking about when there are no first mates. I knew that rule applied to 1M, did he also say it extended to the lowly crew? Hmm... what happens when there are no crew?
