You don't need a free builder to buy a builder

And what's with only one per hut? 65 pirates fit in the tavern but only one builder in a big hut?

 

You'd be pretty smelly after working for 3 months straight. Plus, he who builds can build his own home

 

I knew you didnt need a free builder to make another one, but it took me MONTHS to realize i could train more than one troop at a time. DOH!!!

 

Builders apparently want to sleep once in a while. Pirates just pass out wherever they happen to be.

 

And considering they pass out in the tavern I think they happen to be alcoholics

 

And another couple months to realize I could sail and attack at the same time.

 

Ouch! Doesn't make much sense the way it is, but man it would hurt to be an xor (or really a nand, since you could choose neither)

 

And, you can train multiple pirate types at once in your academy and hut!
