Delete the Ground Pounder...

Say you live in a real bad neighborhood and have a front door that thieves and pillagers like breaking through frequently. Sometimes they rape your wife and kill your children while you are off at work, and usually steal stuff. You find this, understandably, incredibly annoying. You have rigged booby traps and such around your house, and that works for some of the weaker guys, but not all.

Say you have implemented a solution to this problem by sitting granny in the living room with a shotgun pointed at the door waiting for the next guy to come in. This solution works pretty well against the stronger guys.

Would you then want to delete granny?

 

I say just make the GP fully functional as it'd artwork hints it could be. 45 degree rotation left or right of Center, and adjust angle of fire which would adjust the range.

 

Hell yea, cuz granny may shoot me coming through the door.

+1 for being able to set range and direction on pounder. Would really make things more interesting for base design and attack strategy.

 

Don't even think about taking away the Ground Pounder!
What's more fun than watching the GP flatten some poor unsuspecting pirates?
