In one of my guild feature requests, I listed a few gender-neutral replacements for cabin boy. I ran all of them by my Lady Pirates, and here was their verdict.

✔ = Lady Pirate Approved
X = Lady Pirate Rejected (forcefully)

✔ 2nd Mate
✔ ABS (able-bodied sailor)
✔ Powder Monkey
✔ Swabbie/Swab
✔ Deck hand
X Porthole
X Wharf Bunny
X Booties
X Dinghies

 

I don't think there's a need to call out gender either way (it's the internet, there are no genders, right?), so +1 for the forceful rejection of Lady Pirate. I'm cool with the rest that were voted up in your guild...i answer to most things

You guys still are the best ,I just have a fan base of lady pirates who were nice to me and got me over the hump to Captain rank faster than most here or they felt bad after robbing my grog all day as a noob lol. Either way cheers , so gem pack on the way? No ? What? Take back the rank lol.
