I don't think I've looked at the streak leaderboard more than once. Bring back the incentive to rank on global leaderboard. Please.

 

Totally agree with all of the above; and as I've suggested in other threads, the global leaderboard will do more for both guilds and individuals 'ranking up' (and staying high) than any other idea that we've had since its removal.

 

Please bring back the global leaderboard, nothing like a top ranking list to incite a bit of competiveness amongst us pirates

 

Unless the developers are trying to hide the fact that there are only X amount of players ranked above 500 let's say (X being a low number meaning few actually play the game)...there is absolutely no other reason not to have a global leaderboard

P.S. Reward people for high rank please!

 

I'm pretty sure Midoki have already said that they don't wish to replace/remove any of the leaderboards - but that they would consider adding a button (on the regional leaderboard tab) allowing you to switch between regional & international.

This fix has nothing to do with capability of midoki adding the feature and everything to do with midoki not wanting players to compete and push rank. They want us to rumble... and rumble only.... Very unfortunate!

 

But people have a habit of doing what they want...ie pushing rank, even if they can't see the overall international leaderboard. The users will try to (and in fact already do) create their own leaderboards through searching the various national leaderboards. At a time when there are so many people commenting about various things they would like fixed or changed, this would seem like a very simple no-brainer. We are not asking for changed gameplay, or additional game content. just a consolidated leaderboard...My point is that you can try to stifle user objectives, but they will find a way. To me it makes sense for Midoki to accept this request as an easy win for them and us.

 

I totally agree. My question is, why don't they want players at high ranks? They changed the pp scoring system so that he higher the rank the better, yet they are discouraging ranking up in every other way possible!
