Share Something Positive for the Day...Quotes, Poems, Thoughts or any Musings that Suit your Fancy!

I know we all get stuck in a rut and sometimes feel a little down at times. Perhaps some positive mojo like a quote or thought can put a smile on your face or brightened your day!! A fellow pirate friend suggested that I start a blog or thread of positivity, so I thought I would give it a try! I want to give a bigs thanks to @Sea Patriot for the suggestion!

There is a second grade class going over their weekly vocabulary words. The teacher, lets call her Miss Taco, asks the class if anyone can use the word positive in a sentence. Little Bobby raises his hand and asks the teacher, "do farts have lumps?" The teacher, very confused asks Bobby to repeat himself, so he asks again in a bit louder voice, "Miss Taco, do farts have lumps?" The teacher responds "no", Bobby then stands up and declares "well, then I am positive that I pooped my pants"

The end.

 

Ugh that Bobby!! Twas a very confusing question indeed!! Bobby then told the little girl next to him, Filmena, to smell his finger. Kids!!

I dunno about anyone else, but when I'm feeling down I just marvel at the beauty of the world around me. Regardless of believe, however the world was made, it truly is a spectacle

(Talking about a toy)
Me: "OK, it's time for Santa to go home now."
Abby: "Does he live in the mall?"


Abby: "Mommy, are pickles people?"


Abby: (after coloring farm pictures at Barnes & Noble)
"I drew a barn, but I didn't draw a noble."


Abby: "Nora, don't scare me like that, because I'm allergic
to bad guys and I might be sick at you."


Abby (talking about a cartoon character running so fast that his legs were blurred)
"Look Daddy, his legs are friggin!"


Abby: "I broke my brain!"
Amy: "Aww, did you get hurt?"
Abby: "Yeah, I ripped it!"


Me: "Don't touch that, there's schmutz all over it."
Abby, later, pointing to a speck on the floor: "Look, a schmut!"


Abby (unintentionally embarrassing us when telling her doctor about rushing around to get ready for school) "...and one time, when we got there, it wasn't even started yet!"
