I'm PH9. My PR is low because I was plundering bases for their resources and ignoring the PR; eg I like to send thieves in to clean out the resources n then move on; ie, not intentionally dropping PR. I'm moving up again now because rumbles are ALL about BPs and full scale wins :) so yeah, the bases I'm rumbling with at the moment are lowish, probably 6 or 7, but I don't shy from an 8 or 9. Hope to find more of them during the rumble.

It'd be nice if Midoki implemented the BP award indicator that they promised... Maybe next year.

Just lost another rumble to a mini team. We lost by like 100. We just couldn't keep up at the end.

We might all need MINIs eventually.

After just 1 hr, Active Hope is leading with 542 BPs (20 active members). The guild in 2nd place has just 147 BPs (12 active members)

Great comment James. Spot on. Stop whining and face the rules. Using gems could be considered just as much cheating. Or having a guild with only maxed troops. Rules are rules and you max outcome.

We came up against a guild, the top 3 BP scores were all PH2 accounts. I told the guild to stop raiding and just farm. Not going to waste gems against such a guild, so they achieved their purpose. Stopped another guild from spending gems to compete. Guess we should thank them. Stopped us from spending hundreds of gems to only win 35 lol.

  6. The "Atlantis Outlaws 4" is another Crap Guild full of cheaters hacks and Minis.
    Losers. Thieves.
Midoki block this [LANGUAGE, TIMOTHY!] players and create guild penalty too.
We decide in my guild stop with rumble because we found too much hackers.
    Too much coletive stress.

Right. I have a PH5 base. I rumble a lot. I fight against islands with a similar PH to myself. I very seldom use the guild ship. I could not beat a high ranking, blinged out base, so I don't bother. I don't want to spend a lot of gems to upgrade to a super base. I play this game for fun and because there are some great people to play with. There are also a lot of knobs, but I ignore them.

Every day my Ph5 gets wiped out by high ranking bases, multiple times. I am an easy target and big bases love me for some quick, easy and cheap points. Is that fair? No more unfair than a guild using one to two minis in the mix.

There is a bullying element on this forum. Naming people, picking on people, saying Midoki are sharing information about gem usage etc is immoral and illegal. Shame on you. Don't spoil something that so many people love by constant moaning.

There is a bullying element here. Complaints are okay but aggressive attacks are out of place. A forum is a place for discussion.

  9. 20 hacking Minis PH 2-5 proffessional is not "One or Two" making social justice like hobin hood.
And farm dont give Gems and dont activate 40 persons in a guild togheter!!
I personally avoid spend gems in rumble and ask my team mates to spend gems with farm ONLY as a leader.
And Yes, I'm PH9 12 wall that stolen your gold.

There is a bullying element in using mini's. You are, as an experienced player picking on new players by attacking them. When I see the number of guilds using mini's, combined with the number of attacks, I'd have to think it won't be long before new players give up and quit the game. Why play a game where the developers are encouraging experienced players to pick on your little island? I wouldn't.

If you believe or have evidence that players are cheating or hacking the game, please contact support@rovio.com, or PM me the details via the forum private messaging system.

Please note that the use of low level islands to score highly in Rumbles (especially when accompanied by high level donated troops), although distasteful to many, isn't actually cheating - it's gaming the scoring system (a loophole we will be closing in the future, both with changes to the matchmaking and a overhauled scoring system), but not cheating or hacking.

  14. Incidentally, I rarely if at all use GS troops when battling with a mini. I,like for like, destroy ph4 bases, often rumble opponents and then would gem my recruit time to battle again. I've only occasionally used the guild ship if I decide to try a ph5 or 6 base. This is all relative! I can't believe people getting their nickers in a twist about it. If people find it distasteful, then the distaste is with midoki as they are the creators. Not the people who are playing the game!!

It has been the case in rumbles for some time that you either 'mini up' or get 'spanked' by another guild rumble after rumble who are using mini's. As Lynsey said, it's not cheating, it's gaming! When the playing field is levelled then the mini's will likely be retired and we can all get on with our lives. Until then, I am happy not to allow a guild of 'mini's' run away with the rumble loot if we can competitively beat them at their own game.

Is the inference here really that ph 1/2/3 fighting ph 1/2/3's etc bullying? Really? What about when a PH 7/8/9 attacks a new base over and over as is what happens regularly? I think it is a bit of a stretch to say new players will run away and stop playing if the get attacked from othe similar sized bases. I think it's far more likely than new players will wonder what the heck it's all about when their PH1 gets steamrollered by a BP greedy PH9 for whom their is no chance of them ever revenging.

I despise bullying in any form, with the exception of bullies being bullied. The difference between a true ph 1/2/3 and mini's are the people playing them. I'll say it one more time, so even you may understand stand it: you as an experienced player are pick on NEW players. I don't know how you missed that in the very message you quoted? It was after all, the main point in my message. How's the reading reading comprehension?

Thanks for this sarcastic post. And to answer your direct question as to "How the reading reading comprehension is?". Well unfortunately your clarification still doesn't make any sense to me. Even if it is what I think it is you are trying to say, I don't understand the logic behind your argument. The game is after all called PLUNDER pirates which suggests to me that islands of any size or description should expect to get plundered, whether you are an experienced player or not! I've been slaughtered by people from day one in this game who were farming my small base for what little loot I had, but I'm still here! I didn't run off to anyone to complain that the bigger bases with more experienced players were stealing my loot . If we extend your logic then are you suggesting that new players should get a free pass until they are sufficiently developed, physically and emotionally before anyone is allowed to hit them?

The bullying referred to earlier in these posts was originally referring to people being 'named and shamed' in a public forum designed for game improvement and discussion, when they are doing nothing more than operating within the parameters of the game. It was not to debate the hallmarks as to whether people who operate ph1s were being bullied by bigger bases or more experienced players.

In any event, I wish you no offence and trust your remarks are well meant and demonstrate what you really feel to say.

Ok so I am a first mate in active hope. And if you really wanna talk smack fine, it's your opinion not gonna tell you to stop cus you most likely won't. Basically if you have been apart of active hope you would have known by now that we all work together and grow together as one. You get less then 100 bp consistently you will be escorted out. we all average about 200-300 bp per rumble. Rare when someone goes past 500 or 600 bp. And rare when you see someone under 100 bp. We all work together to help each other. I have never seen people as good and as detecated to be amongst the greats. So to sum it all. We don't cheat neither do we take. All we do is give what we give best and that is hope.

My OP was calling out one of yours for being hypocritical with the word bully. That post also had nothing to do with this thread. As to rather my message was on topic? Oh course it is. There is nothing more shameful than bullying the weak. If you don't like being called out for it, stop doing it.

My logic in no way suggest new players should get a free pass. There is a big difference between being attacked by those of your same level and size, and being abused the way mini's are used. I believe new player should be able to expect to play a game without a bunch of creepy people picking on them. You and your guild obviously don't feel that way. To which I say, shame on you. Very much on topic, wouldn't you say?

First off, I'd like to thank and reiterated what @Lynsey [Midoki] wrote -- the use of low level Pirates (i.e. PH3) in a rumble is NOT cheating. It is exploiting how rumbles are scored, but it is within the rules.

Second, @RumDaddy, I don't think characterizing the use of PH3 as bullying is accurate, nor do I believe it is fair. When a PH3 fights another Captain, Midoki's algorithms try to select (albeit with a fairly wide range) opponents of equal caliber. If one Captain is repeatedly being attacked by another Captain, it is necessarily because that first Captain is not defeated or returns to the game (i.e. breaks shield). How is that bullying?

Back to @Lynsey [Midoki] -- as a software developer / engineer, I understand the desire to fix a system that is not working as anticipated, but I want to urge you NOT to change Plunder Pirates to "nerf" PH3s. Guilds will adapt on their own, for better or worse.
