Man, right now I'm envious of you guys (and girls) about your fun. I'm bored like hell, because I don't want to max my walls out anyway.
Will there be 2nd competition in the future? Hope we'll be able to participate next time..

 

I still have a couple level 8 walls, lol, mostly level 9 though.

Not for a bit, yes. All the participating guilds will need to rest for a while after a long push like this! Plus I'm sure that we have new features that'll keep us busy in the meantime, right @Lynsey [Midoki]?

 

This is a good reminder of the areas you need to finish. Wish I had maxed out my HGs when I had too much grog.
Found a glitch with stuck gunners today that I thought had been fixed. Tied up my WD and lost me 16 points..grrr

 

Do you think Mr. Green's base will still be shielded at 1,111 during the next contest?

 

Happened to me a few times too, I am assured they are working on a fix.

 

We can only hope, like waiting for a real replay. Just a shame that when you invest grog over 800 in a good raid and fall foul of a glitch, the punishment sets you back a good 10 raids.

Maybe there needs to be a 'War mode' that slightly changes the game dynamics during guild wars, etc... things like:
- lock out the purchasing of shields during the event
- defensive shields last only 8-10hrs (max)
- increase output of distilleries and mines (and/or other forms of revenue raising)

what is a "shield hider" and how exactly do they affect your game?

 

Well, its very simple. He has a constant shield. How does it affect me? I cannot kick his butt and he is above me lol

I have not even got off first base high cost of WD and my seemingly streamlined ability to stuff it up has been helping me so far this push......I get used to what everything does and an update comes but we are all in that leaky boat.

 

@Virus ^_^ Can't a pirate take a vacation from PP for a week? I guess not, or you'd be called a coward/cheater .
However, I just took down my shield go ahead & have fun attacking me .
Guilds are doing great with the contest, keep it up

 

& I have just attacked the #1 player THE PR SYSTEM IS CHANGED!! YAY! or maybe I'm just dreaming, I don't know??
