You quoted only the first part of my statement. I said "At least until you get the amounts corrected."

I actually like the luck of the draw scenarios. its what makes a game addicting and gets me spending lots of time and even money. I enjoy it. However, if i spend time and/or money and get insulted, then I will stop playing.

• It is insulting to lose 15+ troops and 8 hours of sailing to get a 15k gold reward.
• It is insulting to open an "epic" chest and get a 20k gold reward, or 30k grog reward.
• It is insulting to take out a 2star big fish hoping for copper, and getting 800 gold / 800 grog. ... 800? is that a bug?

I would rather get a cow pie that I could place on a rival's front step.

My point is an 800 gold reward is an insult. it is worthless. so is 20k-60k gold/grog at the level where you can upgrade to lv3 silo

This type of ridiculously insulting reward options have permeated throughout the game.

If I choose to spend 100 gems on a chest, then I believe that there should be some guarantee of at least a few good items. Sure, its still luck of the draw if you get much better loot, but there should be a guaranteed minimum.

take Hearthstone for example. If you buy a pack of cards, you are guaranteed at least one rare. everyone accepts this and buys loads and loads of cards. if people got all common (worthless cards) as a result, people would buy less.

 

I am starting to think they may have a bug in the gold / grog reward multipliers, as the amounts should go up past what is worthwhile for a lvl 1 PH.

 

My best on is when I got 350bp, 350ep and 100 gems.

 

Captain's Chest (second island reward for Silo 3)
45k Grog, 1200 EP, 2 Silver, 4 Topaz, 3 Garnet and 2 Citrine
Guess it'll save about 4 days worth of sailing to get those materials. A million times better than my other Captain's Chest.

 

Ok the chest payout is a complete joke, I just did an 18+hr trip & got sod all for it, it's just a complete joke.



And this next one is from a 5*Ghost Ship.


This next one is from max Blue Fish.


This 1 Copper for hitting high level Fish is just laughable, & the huge drop in BP is also a complete joke. It's just making me not want to bother sailing at all, spending 19hrs at sea for 1 Copper, 2 Masks & 220 BP is just unbelievable. CHANGE THE BLOODY REWARDS MIDOKI!!!!

 

That's from this trip. I was actually wrong about the 18hrs.

It was 21hrs 25min, which is even worse.

 

The rewards are baloney. fix them!!

Short trips are no different for me, still get noting.

 

I don't mind the notion that you have to work hard to accumulate materials for upgrading LP... as soon as you provide the opportunity to buy materials people will have maxed out LP in no time. At least the way it is now means its a gamble if you buy a chest.

and at the same time, "fishing" has become useless... especially the 4* Biggers...

 

I've had 2 Davy Jones chests, no materials in those either...

Edit: now 3 DJ chests, STILL no materials...

Why am I even getting a Battered chest from max star battles is my point.

 

Thy do suck, but FWIW, I've gotten up to 500k gold/grog from an ad.

 

That 900 really impressed me haha
Mine is from 4 start bigger fish if I remember correctly.
